There are so many how-to-books of varying topics that the market is saturated. What are needed are good books about specific niche markets geared towards focused readers. In order to write a good book, as an example a book about Chicago Web Design, it requires the writer either to be expertly knowledgeable about the subject matter, or at least to have a solid set of reliable resources with which to pull their information from to construe to the reader. Readers can see immediately if an author has limited or no knowledge about a subject matter easily if they are being fed information, which is readily available to them on their own. Readers want and need to be told something new that can enhance the knowledge they already have about a topic. Another helpful task is completing a search to see what other books are already in existence about your selected. This can be helpful in giving you that final guidance about areas of focus that other authors have already exhausted.
